Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of goods, assisting with warehouse operations, and maintaining inventory. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
Delivery and Transportation:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers and clients.
- Plan delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
Warehouse Operations:
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and storing incoming stock.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Prepare goods for dispatch and ensure accurate labeling and packaging.
Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular stock counts and update inventory records.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with stock levels to the Branch Manager.
- Assist in the organization and rotation of stock to prevent damage and spoilage.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
General Duties:
- Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment and vehicles.
- Follow company policies and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager.
Qualifications:
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, delivery, or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse operations is an advantage.
Skills:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse environment.
